DISCOVERING THE FASHION X AI EXHIBITION IN LONDON

On 8 September 2023, AiDLab successfully launched its innovative Fashion X AI touring exhibition at The Mills Fabrica in London. The launch event kicked off with an opening ceremony and forum attended by over 150 guests from the fashion, design and technology fields. As the final stop of our Touring Exhibition,  the exhibition is taking place from 6th September to 22nd September, 2023.

 

During the forum, participants gained valuable insights on the application of AI in the fashion industry and real life. The event also facilitated face-to-face networking opportunities, providing a platform to connect and discuss the potential of AI in fashion and design .

 

After the forum, guests enjoyed visiting the Fashion X AI touring exhibition. The interactive exhibition showcased the diverse works of international and local creative innovation practitioners, including:

• AI-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion (AiDA)

• AI & Couture

• AI & Ergonomics

• Innovation in Product and Service Design

• Intelligent Textiles

The successful launch in London marked the finale of over a year of collaborative efforts to AI adoption in the fashion industry.

Panel Discussion: Authentic Creativity and AI

Throughout history, creativity has been a crucial component of human intelligence that has inspired art, science, and innovation. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to advance at a rapid pace, there is a growing interest in exploring the potential of AI to augment, and even replace, human creativity. However, it is important to underscore the significance of AI design that prioritises human-centered approaches, emphasizes collaboration, and promotes diversity.
